Where Wolves Are Made Of Foam
This time, we wanted to experiment with a new material: Spray Foam. Same stuff you use to patch holes in your walls. But now we wanted to use it to make a werewolf mask.
We Made A Thing
The Fantastic Four movie hits theatres this week. If you’ve seen the trailer, maybe you’ve noticed the scene where some middle-school kids are out and about wearing Ben Grimm Thing masks. They’re modeled after the vintage masks Ben Cooper, Inc. put out in the 1960s. When we saw that movie clip, Michelle and I knew we’d have to try to make our own version of the mask.
Making A Monkey Out Of Me
This week on our YouTube channel, we made Ben Cooper-style Planet of the Apes masks (and accompanying window boxes). We don’t have a vacuum forming machine, so we sculpted them out of papier mache and foam clay.
