The Pittsburgh Recast exhibit at the Heinz History Center has been extended through September 2008. Apparently, the show's a hit with school children. Two of my pieces (The Green Man, Mystery In The Mon) are hanging in that show and (mentioning it for the three-hundredth time) Mystery In The Mon claimed Second Prize in that show. Oh, I'd have tried for first prize but nobody likes a show-off. Anyway, It's a great show that tells the story of Pittsburgh's past, present and future through illustration. If you get a chance to go, have a blast. |
